











Terms & Conditions
DEPOSITS and PAYMENT DETAILS:

A 50% deposit of the total cost is required to secure all bookings. The booking is NOT secure unless a deposit is made.

The deposit is non-refundable if cancelled 1 month prior to your booking, excluding weddings which become non-refundable if cancelled 3 months prior to the wedding date.

In the event where your wedding or event has been rescheduled to a new date due to enforced government restrictions, your deposit will be transferred to your new rescheduled date. In the event where Katia is unavailable on this date you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

Final payment can be made via bank transfer or cash. If you pay by direct deposit, this must be done one week prior to your wedding day, if you prefer to pay cash then payment on the day is accepted only by prior agreement.

By making a deposit you are agreeing to the quoted price; If any removal/alterations of services by the client occurs the total amount will not change and still will require full payment.

Final payment for any other bookings can be paid by either bank transfer if done 3 days prior or cash on the day.

In the event where Katia is unable to perform services for any reason including but not limited to sickness, accident or any unforeseen circumstances, reasonable accommodations shall be made up to and including a full refund of deposits paid for services not provided.
TRAVEL:

A travel fee will apply for locations outside of the local area (Fairfield NSW).

Early morning surcharge: A surcharge applies to bookings where the artist is required to start work and/or leave home between the hours of 12:00am to 7:00am.

Public Holidays: A surcharge applies to all public holiday bookings.

In the event where parking fees are incurred at the location of your appointment such as a hotel, this will be added to the final cost.
LATE ARRIVAL & CANCELLATION POLICY:

Late fees may apply if the client is running 15 minutes late or longer. A $25 upfront fee will apply for every 15 minutes if you are running late or there is a possibility your appointment will be cancelled forfeiting a refund of the deposit. This fee is payable upfront before commencing any services.

A start and end time will be agreed by bride/client and Katia. Each service requires a certain length of time to be finished, the usual timeframe is approximately 1 – 1.5 hours per person per service. Any lateness will slow the job down and may jeopardise the quality of work or delay the ceremony.
SERVICE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Location of service on the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements needed to complete the services. A set up table/work area and chairs must be made available at said location. Working electrical outlets must also be made available for use if hair is part of the services. Ample lighting, whether it be natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. Katia will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location.
HEALTH & SAFETY:

All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the artist, Katia for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

If you or anyone in your booking have an active cold-sore, Katia can apply makeup using the client’s products and brushes. She will not use her professional kit or tools to prevent contamination to other clients. Services cannot be performed on a client that has conjunctivitis or any other contagious condition.

Please advise Katia as soon as possible if you or any member of your household is experiencing any flu-like symptoms, awaiting results of a COVID-19 swab test, have been a close contact, have tested positive to COVID-19 or have been to a recent hotspot as listed here by NSW Health https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates#latest-covid-19-case-locations-in-nsw
BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS:

If you give permission for your photo to be taken including a before photo, then you are giving permission for website/promotional/social media use.
